The Gjirokastra court has officially dismissed the case of the death of the Greek extremist, Kostandin Kacifas, in the village of Bularat. Invited to the ABC Live studio with Juli Xhokaxhi, ABC journalist Ferdinand Dervishi comments on the statements of family members who claim that their son was killed by RENEA. According to him, he has the right to make such a statement, as initially the official version was that the young man was killed by Albanian forces.
The journalist also described the decision as a mitigation maneuver, for the big mistake that was initially made with the false news.
“It is not the fault of the father who says that my son killed RENEA because that is what was said, it was an official version, while the Prime Minister lied to Ardi Veliu says it. It’s not my father’s fault. But now, if this had been done, if the truth had been told, even if the photos had been published, things would have changed, now we would not have such a big event. I think that the Gjirokastra court has withdrawn so that the prosecution can review this version once again. I believe this is a game to tame and cover that big blunder. “I believe there is a mitigation maneuver here,” he said.
Dervishi further clarifies the findings of the legal expertise, where it was discovered that the bullets are Kalashnikov and RENEA weapons are excluded.
“We knew that from one shot he was in full swing, which shows that he aimed his machine gun at himself with a volley. In no case when it is placed in bursts does it emit one, but two. It is explained that the gases emitted from the barrel of the weapon in the first firing pushed it out of the human body and the second firing was done above. We also made the exclusion of RENEA and it shoots one by one. So we excluded the RENEA sniper. The other weapons we filmed that day are berets that have very thin bullets. While we were told that the tracks are Kalashnikov classic. “That’s what we explained,” the journalist declared.
According to Dervishi, immediately after this court decision, there will be reactions from the Greek side for propaganda purposes. The journalist reveals that at the time of the incident, while the government of Alexis Tsipras was in Greece, the Greek secret services informed the Albanian ones about Kacifas, who belonged to “Agimi i Arte”.
“I believe that there will be reactions from the Greek side. But this can only be done for propaganda purposes. While I am very confident that at the time of the incident I am convinced that the Greek secret services knew and informed the Albanian secret services. Tsipras did not like “Agimi i Arte” and he was part of it. I do not believe that the Albanian government could give a version of suicide. They have left a Greek doctor to look at the corpse. The Greeks had the information that we are not dealing with a martyr, but of “Agimi i Arte”. “However, there were protest notes,” the journalist explained. / abcnews.al
