Rama will be hosted by Macron in an official ceremony, several agreements will be signed

Prime Minister Edi Rama is in France as part of a two-day visit at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron. The Prime Minister will be welcomed with an official ceremony at 13:00 by Macron. After the ceremony, Rama and Macron are expected to hold a press statement. Afterwards, several intergovernmental agreements and memoranda of understanding between the countries will be signed.

At 14.45, Rama and Macron will hold a face-to-face meeting. During the visit to Paris, the head of government will hold a series of meetings focused mainly on promoting the potential and positive climate that Albania offers for the development of foreign investments, as well as on the perspective of cooperation between the two countries in the field of technology and innovation.

The agenda will continue at 16.00 with the visit and meetings at STATION F, the world’s largest startup and innovation incubator, as well as the inaugural meeting of the France-Albania Innovation Council – CIFA, where the Secretary will also participate French State for Digital Industry, representatives of the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Economy, as well as various French and Albanian operators in the field of innovation.

Together with Prime Minister Rama part of the government delegation will be the Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu, the Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro, the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhe, the Minister of State for Local Government Arbjan Mazniku, as well as the Minister of the State for Public Administration and Anticorruption Adea Pirdeni./abcnews.al
