Prime Minister, Edi Rama has pledged this Wednesday that the minimum wage in Albania will increase from 26.000 to ALL 30.000.
PM Rama also promised to double payment of economic assistance to persons who have lost their jobs during the pandemic, as well as re-employment for them.
“For those who lost their jobs in the pandemic, we will double the economic aid following the coronavirus situation. Since June, 20.000 out of 30.000 people who lost their jobs were re-employed.
Today we are defining the measure in order to set a minimum wage of ALL 30.000, both in the public and private sector,” stated Rama./abcnews.al
