The prosecution has registered a high number in an increasing trend for criminal proceedings for corruption. An increase in new criminal proceedings has been observed for 2023.
Attention has been paid to requests for legal aid sent to agencies abroad. While over 200 criminal proceedings have been made for corruption. Meanwhile, the investigations continue with 25 joint teams that for 2023 have been set up in Italy, but also in France and Nordic countries, or in the region such as EMV and Kosovo.
