This Friday, Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered his closing speech to the OSCE Ministerial, after the election of the executive heads of this organization.
In his speech, the Prime Minister thanked all the collaborators during this year of cooperation at the helm of the OSCE.
Rama said that although with a little experience in these levels of world diplomacy, he set high goals and succeeded.
“Everything was against us. The COVID pandemic blocked our way, but we managed at all the cost, Albania took more responsibility than any other country.
“This was a very challenging year, but Albania had a dignified debut at the head of the OSCE,” said Prime Minister Rama.
Rama, among others, in his closing speech at the head of the OSCE stressed that Albania will always be part of the troika.
“The OSCE is a platform that can be heard, it is an organization that makes the need for consensus fragile but also strong, it is an organization that has a place in the world and deserves to be valued as much as our membership in NATO or the EU, we we do a great job where others cannot or do not want to get involved. This is the end of our presidency’s journey, I wish Sweden and Anna the best for the next year, she had to leave and the ambassador will take her on her behalf. “I guarantee you that we will be part of the troika and we will always help you”, Rama said./abcnews.al
