ABC News learns new details about the massive national action taken by the State Police, FNSH, RENEA and the Operational Forces. ABC News journalist Ermal Vija reports that over 40 arrest warrants have been issued by SPAK in several cities of the country, including Tirana, Lezha, Vlora and Durrës.
It is reported that checks were also made at the residence of the father of brothers Erlis and Leonard Duka in Fresk. The two brothers Leonard and Elis Duka are known as rivals of the much-wanted Ervis Martinaj, due to the clashes and murders that occurred between members of their groups over the years.
Leonard and Elis Duka are accused of murdering ex-policeman Santiago Malko. In Fushë Krujë, the apartment of Albert Zaja in the village of Larushk was searched, sentenced to 19 years in prison by the GJKKO Appeal for the murder of Shkëlzen Kastrati.
