Prime Minister Edi Rama has again expressed Albania’s support for Ukraine, regarding its war against Russia.
During his speech at the Summit for Ukraine in Tirana, Rama declared that Zelensky’s presence is a reminder that Russian President Vladimir Putin has not succeeded.
“This is a war that neither Ukraine nor the community of nations chose. Your presence here is a reminder that he didn’t make it. Russia has not succeeded in overthrowing the elected government of Ukraine.
He has not succeeded in suppressing the truth. Putin wanted to wipe Ukraine off the map, but Ukraine is anchored in Europe.
We have just marked the second anniversary of the war and we are here to support Ukraine.
We want to renew our appeal to Russia to stop this war. A peace that respects Ukraine and its rights. We remain determined towards Ukraine”, said Rama.
