The Albanian State Police took security measures ahead of the official visit of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Tirana on Thursday.
Around 1500 police officers will be on terrain during Blinken’s visit. 400 of them will be by the Guards of Republic while the others from the state police and Quick Intervention Forces and RENEA.
They all in collaboration with each-other will manage to secure all the activities of Blinken, since his arrival to the Rinas Airport.
Starting this Wednesday from 7:00 pm until tomorrow, Thursday 20:00 pm will not be allowed to be parked on the roads “Faik Konica”, “Dervish Hima”, “Ismail Qemali”, “Gjergj Filipi”, “Lek Dukagjini”, Rruga e Elbasanit, “Papa Gjon Pali II”, Bpulevard “Bajram Curri”, Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit”, and “Ukraina e Lirë”.
Meanwhile in the same roads, circulation of vehicles will not be allowed at all from 09:30-12.30 and 17:30-20.00, on 15.02.2024.
