Berisha sees immunity’s removal as political revenge

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha spoke this Thursday from the blue headquarters, after the closure of the opposition protest. In his speech, Berisha described the decision of the Assembly to remove his immunity as political revenge.

Furthermore, the Former PM said that although he has no immunity, he feels stronger than ever.

“I am stronger than ever! Here (supporters cheer). I am more determined than ever in defense of the opposition’s right to cause. There is no force in the world that can defeat the ideals of democracy.

Everything taken against me is illegitimate. The decisions were taken as a political revenge in violation of every principle and law of this country. Thank you for your presence and goodbye. Victory, victory, victory!”, said Berisha.
