A 48-year-old Turkish man was arrested in Tirana as part of the police operation codenamed “Istanbul”, as reported this Sunday.
Hasan Ozcan was declared internationally wanted, after the Court of Serious Crimes in Istanbul, Anatolia, Turkey, sentenced him to 3 years and 28 days in prison.
Ozcan is accused of the criminal offenses of “Participation in murder” and “Attempted murder”, provided by the Criminal Code of Turkey.
On its part, Interpol Tirana follows the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Turkey, while the operation was finalized by the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector./abcnews.al
