Three people have been criminally prosecuted for the pollution of the Gjanica river, while the police announce that the three prosecuted, employees of two private companies active in the field of hydrocarbons, threw waste into the river.
From the investigations, it turned out that the 2 companies where these citizens are responsible employees, through their activity in the field of hydrocarbons, have polluted the waters of the river, after they have discharged the waste of these materials there.
As a result, a 34-year-old director of the Oil Production Center in Fier was criminally prosecuted; a 35-year-old, responsible for the Decanting Sector in a private company in Patos; as well as another 61-year-old, with the duties of director of hydrocarbon operations, in another private company.
