The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has visited the 26-year-old woman, who was raped a few days ago by four boys, in the Vlora hospital.
During his speech, Balla guaranteed that the young woman will have full legal support and a full investigation will be carried out with personal care from both him and the mayor of the city of Vlora.
“I want to remember here that we will do everything to protect every girl, every sister from any form of gender-based violence or sexual-based violence. For the girl, we will offer all the full legal support, providing assistance through the instruments that the Ministry of Justice has.
The moment I came here, I was informed by the part that belongs to the Prosecutor’s Office of Vlora.
I also want a full investigation and I guarantee you that any gender-based action will be fully protected. My personal care and that of the mayor of Vlora will always be for the girl”, said the minister, among other things. We remind you that the Court of Vlora has imposed the security measure ‘Prison arrest’ for the citizens accused of inciting and using drugs and then the rape of the 26-year-old.
Two of them, Oltjon Tahiri and Albi Ceno, have been arrested, while Gentjano Mehmeti has been announced as another citizen./abcnews.al
