Rama: Albania to sit in UN Human Rights’ Council

Albania will be part of the Human Rights Council at the United Nations, simce123 member countries of the UN General Assembly voted in favor. Albania will be one of the 15 countries that will sit in the KDNJ from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026.

However, it was Prime Minister Edi Rama who announced the news, stating that Albania took on another international role.

Albania sits on the UN Human Rights Council. Yesterday, 123 member countries of the UN General Assembly voted FOR ALBANIA as one of the 15 countries that will sit in the KHR from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026”, underlined PM Rama.
