Woman involved in murder threatened by victim’s family

Cooperation of Artan Tafani, Laert Haxhi’s “friend” with the justice system, brought to light dozens of criminal events in the country and abroad, including six murders.

Police have carried out several operations and so far 12 people have been arrested, including a woman, identified as Klea Gjata, 27 years old. In the meantime, it is suspected that Klea Gjata, from Lushnja, part of Laert Haxhi’s group, is involved in a murder, but it remains unclear what her role was.

Recently, her lawyer claimed that the family of Gjata has received threats from family members of the victims.

According to the lawyer, Detar Hysi, the police and the prosecutor’s office exceeded their powers, as they did not verify and confirm the statements of a repentant person for 3 days.

He asked for legal measures to be taken to ensure the lives of citizens.
