Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime is expected to deliver this Monday morning the verdict for the defendants, in relation to the Fier incinerator file.
Hearing on the case was scheduled to be held at 10:00, but it was postponed by 60 minutes. Special Prosecutor’s Office requested a total of 81 years in prison for 15 defendants, but a summary trial was applied to them.
Among the defendants are the former Minister of the Environment, Lefter Koka, the former secretary of this ministry, Alqi Blako or Arben Dervij, in the capacity of the inspector of works.
For Lefter Koka, SPAK requested 10 years of imprisonment, while for Alqi Bllako, 7 years.
