27-year-old Klisman Preçi lost her life while 46-year-old Ylli Brahimi was seriously injured in an assassination attempt on them in the center of the city of Milot. Ylli Brahimi received injuries to his ribs and legs and is in the Trauma hospital in Tirana.
They were entering the alley that separates the apartments of Preçi and Brahmi when they were faced with a barrage of bullets, just after they got off the Toyota armored car. It is suspected that they were the two shooters who fired with automatic volleys and then left in a car in the direction of Laçi.
Despite the help given, Klisman Preçi could not survive, while Ylli Brahimi underwent surgery. The perpetrators’ vehicle was allegedly burned in the village of Gramëz after the police found a vehicle on fire, including a Kalashnikov inside it.
It is learned that the perpetrators followed the two victims for a long time and knew their every move, while yesterday evening they waited for them and carried out the assassination.
Ylli Brahimi escaped the assassination attempt in January last year in the center of Milot, where he was shot by two people driving a motorcycle, while Klisman Preçi escaped the first assassination attempt at the entrance to Lezha, where the vehicle he shared with a cousin he was traveling and was shot by another moving vehicle.
So far, the police have escorted dozens of people, but it is still known that there is no trace of the perpetrators.
