The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, in his speech at the EU-Western Balkans Summit, which is being held in Montenegro, said that the region should cooperate in several areas. ”

We must make our participation in the security policy more significant. We need to be part of the instruments that deal with cyber security. We will continue the regional cooperation and we are committed to this. For Albania, it is not the past that should control the future, but the future should control the past”, said Rama.

He emphasized that the states of the Western Balkans should not block themselves with bilateral issues, but cooperate for integration towards the European Union.

“We want to be seen as member states in terms of behavior and yet we continue to block ourselves. This doesn’t make sense. We must leave politics and bilateral issues out of this situation. If we do everything in a European way, it will lighten the atmosphere, so that everyone can deal with bilateral issues,” he added./abcnews.al
