Prime Minister Edi Rama and Economy Minister Anila Denaj have been part of the Economic Forum, a platform of dialogue with foreign and local experts.

During his speech at the economic forum in Tirana, Rama said that there was an increase in foreign investments in the country, and stressed out that the business and administration must be improved.

“Thank you for the invitation and for giving me the opportunity to speak at this forum on a very good day in Albanian history because we had commemoration of “Congress  Lushnja” about 100 years ago.

An important event for  our state which always has its eyes on the west. I hope this year will be good for the EU and Albania, but also for the region and our relations with all our neighbors.

This can serve as the foundation for the development of our economy. First let me express a wish.  My idea is to strength the collaboration with the Delphi forum and to understand how these two forums relate and to organize the next steps for the forum in Tirana to serve for further development of the topics.

We have the lowest unemployment rate in 25 years. The unemployment rate does not come from the number of residents  actually  living in Albania but from the entire population. We have increased foreign investment, but we need more. We need to improve the business climate, and our administration, which is directly related to business.

By 2020 the services will be provided online and there will be no need to go to foreign countries to seek licenses.

We have come to the conclusion that all applications must be processed and answered within the legal deadlines.

There will be an amercement for any violation of these legal deadlines. They will pay out from their pocket for any delays in a document, “Rama said./abcnews.al
