US Ambassador Yuri Kim attended today the graduation ceremony of the 5th year students of the Investigative Reporting Laboratory, a project of the American diplomatic headquarters.
Kim has encouraged journalists, conveying to the latter the message that they should always seek the truth.
“Today, the US Ambassador Yuri Kim and the Head of Public Relations Brian Beckmann, participated in the graduation ceremony of the 5th year students of the Laboratory of Investigative Journalism, which is managed by the Albanian Center for Quality Journalism. Ambassador Kim told the students:
“I hope you will try to uncover truths that you know exist but have not yet come to light. Seek the truth. Show it clearly, transparently, and convey it to the Albanian people. Help hold government, institutions, and society accountable. Through these actions, you will work to make Albania a better country.
“Yes, you, through your work, can make Albania a better place to live, work and learn,” the US embassy said in a statement. / abcnews.al
