Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias, stated that Greece has supported the country through the difficult situation that the country went from the November 26 earthquake.
Rama stressed that Greece has been one of the countries involved in making direct contributions during the donors’ conference.
He also stressed out that he is ready to discuss all issues with Greece.
“We are in a situation where the direct contribution not only with the symbolic presence of the minister here but also with the presence of search and rescue troops from the friendly country enabled us to get out of that situation, saving many lives.
Honestly I will never forget the exhumation of a young boy and those boys in the uniform of a neighboring country who came here for the first time sacrificed quite a bit and were ready to sacrifice their lives.
So with that strong and unforgettable memory today we welcome here our friend, to talk about the common path of the future as two neighbors that are together under the same sun for thousands of years and we have the obligation to generations do what ordinary Albanian and Greek people in human relations.
We agree to work together to resolve, all issues that need to be resolved between our countries, which are issues of both sides.
