The Special Appeals Panel today dismissed Besnik Muçin, which was also decreed as a member of the Constitutional Court.
In the announced decision, The KPA says Muçi has made false declarations of wealth at the same time affecting public confidence.
The KPA also says that Muçi has contacts with inappropriate persons.
Muci was present at the session.
In a statement to the media after the decision, Mucci said he does not recognize the decision of the KPA because it has no jurisdiction over members of the Constitutional Court.
“Now I am trying to analyze the decision of the KPA. The Panel cannot extend its powers to the Constitutional Court. That means, that in the moment I swore to the President I lost the status of prosecutor.
The college had no jurisdiction over my case. At the moment my duty as a prosecutor is over , I’m no longer a subject, the KPA has no jurisdiction over the member of the Constitutional Court, ”said Muçi.
