Candidate for Chief Prosecutor Fajtona Memcaj is second interviewed after the LCP Arta Marku.
In her speech during the presentation of the platform and her vision of being elected Chief Prosecutor Memcaj emphasized justice reform.
“As what the Attorney General should represent while implementing justice reform , I have outlined politics to implement strategies that the Attorney General should be there to demonstrate and defend the rule of law, equality and security of law for every individual, integrity, authority, leadership, what is expected today from justice reform.
To know how to implement not only legislation but also ensure that it is adopted and controlled against a transparent accountability.
The task of the new prosecutor is to make a dignified partner, alongside other prosecutions in what is called the fight against criminality.
At the start of her speech Memcaj summarized her 18-year career.
“I was one of the first prosecutors of the Albanian Task Force on money laundering, I headed the legal department in Presidency, making legal acts that are useful today.
I am a doctor of science, I have several years of experience, I am involved in teaching, a member of the Board of Magistrates and a member of KED ”./ abcnews.al
