Prime Minister Edi Rama commented on yesterday’s visit to Brussels, within the 11th Stabilization and Association Council.
Asked by reporters during the press conference if he felt responsible for the ultimatum from EU officials that the candidates in the elections should be with integrity, Rama said that there was no kind of ultimatum.
Rama stressed out that not only was there no ultimatum, he even said that he had received only positive assessments for Albania. Also, the Prime Minister has denied that the Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, has expressed concern about the investment for the Port of Durres.
“Facts alone are not opinions and the concept of alternative facts about the same facts is a concept that has recently entered human society as a result of fake news. In Brussels I have not heard any ultimatum. I have heard positive assessments for Albania, said Rama./abcnews.al
