Covid-19 takes the life of the third teacher within a week in Albania. The victim is Violeta Liçaj, a teacher from Fier who could not survive Covid-19 complications. The sad news was made public by her colleagues at the “Liri Gero” school.
Earlier this week teacher Xhevit Dermyshi from Gramsh died due to novel virus on Thursday, while, teacher Gramoz Adebindaj from Fier died on Wednesday.
For days, the teacher from Fier was hospitalized but could not win the battle with the novel virus.
The situation of the pandemic in Albania continues to be worrying, where high numbers of infected and unfortunately also victims are reported every day. Yesterday the Ministry of Health announced 410 new cases and 8 loss of life.
So far, a total of 8 teachers have died due to coronavirus./abcnews.al
