Police has arrested a 32-year-old man, who was responsible for the work where the explosion occurred, as a result of which a father and son died and seven others were injured.
According to the police, the arrested person was authorized to carry out the construction of the silo, according to the enterprise contract. According to the preliminary investigations, it turns out that the 32-year-old Leonard Gjini has allowed the works to be carried out, without respecting the relevant regulations of technical insurance, technical discipline and protection at work and has not taken measures for implementation.
He was interrogated about the event that happened there, while he claimed that he had no idea what works were being carried out in the building in question.
Gjini has added that he has not sent any employee and has not signed any subcontract to work in this facility.
