The anti-defamation package has been sent at the Venice Commission. The official website of this institution states that Albania has asked for an opinion on the latest amendments to the AMA law.
It is not yet known which Albanian institution sent the case there, but the Assembly, the Presidency and the Constitutional Court denied being the petitioners.
The government has not yet answered about that case, but in the assembly the socialists rejected one of Meta’s decrees, refusing to correct the anti-defamation package.
Meta’s next Anti-Defamation decree will be reviewed at the Media Commission on Thursday./abcnews.al
