Prime Minister Edi Rama has congratulated this Monday much success to students, teachers and parents throughout Albania at the start of the new school year.
He wished all the children, students, teachers and parents of Albania as much success and prosperity as possible.
“Today, when the school doors have opened and a new journey of knowledge has just started with the national anthem, in sending a heartfelt wish for as much success and prosperity as possible for all children, students, teachers and parents of all Albania”, underlined PM Rama.
About 450.000 students of pre-university education in the country started the new school year today. 70.000 belong to kindergartens, about 100 thousand are high school students and 280 thousand in 9-year education.
For the first time, about 29 children who are starting the first grade sat in the school benches. For the first time in this school year, those who are 5 years old but will turn 6 within the year have been admitted to the first grade.
