Man arrested for backmailing brazilian woman

Tirana police have arrested a 29-year-old, after he was reported for blackmail. E. D., 29 years old, resident in Tirana, was handcuffed for the criminal offense “Coercion through threats or violence for giving property”.

His arrest was made after the accusation made by a 19-year-old Brazilian. The young man had taken the passport of the 19-year-old, whom he blackmailed to give him certain amounts of money, for not publishing some of the videos he had.

“Thanks to professional actions, by the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Police Commissariat no. 6, within a few hours, the citizen was located and arrested in flagrante delicto:

– E. D., 29 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense “Coercion through threats or violence for giving property”.

During the investigative actions, it turned out that the citizen E. D. had taken the passport of the 19-year-old girl, whom he blackmailed to give him certain amounts of money, for not publishing some of the videos that he had.

The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further procedural actions.
