The President of the Republic, Ilir Meta has reacted on the social network “Facebook” for the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey.
Expressing sorrow for the victims, Meta writes that: “In these very difficult moments, the Albanian people and I are on the side of our friendly Turkey,” writes Meta.

With deep concern and pain I am following the situation in our friendly Turkey, struck by the tragic earthquake.
Very shocked by the human casualties, I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the entire Turkish people and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, praying that there will be no more loss of life.
