The Democratic Party has reacted after strong decisions were made in the marathon meeting of the assembly. The assembly decided to permanently expel Sali Berisha and his supporters from the DP. In an official statement, the blue headquarters argues the reasons for the decision-making, which come after the protest called on January 8 by Sali Berisha for the removal of Basha and which degenerated into violence. According to the DP, the violence seriously endangered the lives of MPs, members of the presidency and representatives of the DP, who were on the second floor of the building.
DP clarifies that the protest was called peaceful, but was prepared to cause bloodshed among Democrats. The blue headquarters emphasizes between the lines that after 48 hours have passed and “there is no act of distancing from the unprecedented violence ordered, organized and instigated by some party members, decisions were taken unanimously against their party and members of the Democratic Party”. DP statement also gives the last chance for the rest.
