The chairman of SPAK Altin Dumani is reporting to the High Council of Prosecution on the work of the institution he leads, throughout 2023. He said that the work of SPAK has influenced Albania to get off the money laundering gray list. Further, the head of SPAK affirmed that representatives of the DEA and the FBI have been attached to SPAK to provide their assistance.
“SPAK has played a role in removing Albania from the gray list of money laundering. SPAK has established credibility with regional institutions and beyond. Representatives of the DEA and the FBI have been attached to SPAK offices to provide their input.
There is progress in the fight against corruption,” Dumani said.
