President Ilir Meta was part of the National Integration Council this Tuesday. The head of state in his speech to the Security Council said that cooperation between the parties and dialogue is important on this path.
In his speech, Meta emphasized, among other things, that the European path requires European behavior.
President Meta also stressed out that he encourages government to reflect on the contributions of all members of the Council, to discuss one by one all the conditions set, and to clearly define the responsible actors, the concrete terms of measurable action and financial costs for each item.

Moving forward on the European path requires first and foremost a European approach, which should be dominated by dialogue, comprehensive cooperation, and trust between institutions and citizens.
This conviction has guided me throughout my activity as President of the Republic, with appeals and initiatives for accountability, cooperation, and focus on the European integration agenda, as a priority of all priorities.
We are all warned by the new methodology of the European Union, which emphasizes the punishment when the progress is not real, until the return of the integration process and achievements so far.
Dialogue means not only talking but also listening. Collaboration not only means taking but also offering.
