Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to the inauguration of the reconstructed neighborhood in Lac was honored with the title “Honorary Citizen of Kurbin”. The title was awarded by Mayor Majlinda Cara.
In addition to the institutional one, Cara presented Erdogan with a personal award with a message for him.
“During a short meeting we had before coming here, I told him that you are an honorary citizen of Kurbin and his obligations to Kurbin are the same as all of us. ”I wish to keep the award in your office forever for all the generosity you have shown,” she said.
After cutting the ribbon for the inauguration of the new neighborhood, Rama together with Lindita Nikolla decorated an inscription: “Erdogan Square”. This will be the name of the main square in the neighborhood built in Lac with the funding of Turkey.
