During the plenary session, the Assembly has reviewed the draft law “On some changes and additions to the law” ,on compensation of former political prisoners of the communist regime “, as amended.
Speaking from the Assembly, MP’s Taulant Balla said that in all the years he has been in Parliament, he has heard “pathetic discussions” from people who have never done anything for the former persecuted.”
Further, Balla stated that since 2013 the majority has provided compensation to those who have actually been persecuted. He also stressed out that even in these difficult conditions that the country is going through (pandemic) the process of compensation will continue./abcnews.al
