A 56-year-old man from Kosovo, declared internationally wanted, was arrested at the border point of Morina as he tried to enter Albania with the aim of extradition to Switzerland.
It is learned that the 56-year-old was wanted by the Swiss authorities for fraud, forgery of documents and money laundering.
After the verifications, it turned out that the 56-year-old was wanted by Interpol Bern, after the Swiss court assigned him the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for the criminal offenses “Fraud”, “Forgery of travel documents” and “Money laundering”, according to the provisions of the criminal legislation of Switzerland. Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with counterparts in Switzerland, is following the procedures for the extradition of the 56-year-old.
