Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Dr. Karen Donfried will travel to the Western Balkans from April 25th to 29th, with stops in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia and Serbia.
ABC learns that in the meetings that Karen Donfried will hold in our country, the chairman of the PD parliamentary group, Enkelejd Alibeaj, will also be present. The US Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim, will also take part in this meeting.
This is the second meeting that Yuri Kim has with Alibeaj in a very short time. Meanwhile, we recall that clashes between former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and the US ambassador have recently increased. Berisha has accused Kim of influencing the Court process regarding the leadership of the Democratic Party.
