The 20-year-old man who hit the truck on Thursday with his car on “Librazhd-Elbasan” road segment has been remanded into custody, as announced Friday.
As a result, the young man himself and the passenger traveling with him were injured. In the meantime, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction for further actions.
“Specialists of the Traffic Police Sector arrested a 20-year-old citizen, a resident of Pogradec, in the act, after yesterday, on the “Librazhd-Elbasan” road axis, in the place called “Ura e Murrashi”, the vehicle he was driving collided with the truck which was run by a 46-year-old citizen, resident in North Macedonia.
As a result, the citizen himself, who is out of danger for his life, and the passenger who was traveling with him, who is under the care of doctors, were injured”, as quoted from the police announcement.
