Police of Vlora attacked this Thursday a case of smuggling of goods, while arresting a 34-year-old man and announcing the search for his accomplice. Law enforcement revealed that the 34-year-old man and the 29-year-old wanted woman were storing contraband goods and hiding the proceeds from their sale.
During a search of the 29-year-old’s apartment in the “Uji i Ftohte” neighborhood, the police found clothes and bags worth 25,000 euros, without accompanying tax invoices or customs declarations about their origin.
Investigative actions showed that the 29-year-old cooperated with the 34-year-old for the storage of suspected smuggled goods, which they sold at retail in an illegal manner.
Meanwhile, smuggled goods (clothes, bags) worth 25,000 euros were seized.
