Minister Manastirliu inspected this morning the National Medical Emergency Center, where she spoke about the enhanced readiness of ambulances, hospitals and medical teams.
“Measures have been taken that in addition to the 9 ambulances that will be in the fixed posts, there are also 7 additional ambulances, which are in circulation. So health emergencies in Tirana will be faced with increased capacity, because preparedness will be increased. On the other hand, the medical teams, which will be placed in the stadium, are 8 teams that have been trained with doctors, nurses who will be inside the stadium. There are also ambulances outside the stadium, which have the opportunity to transport, in cases where there may be a health emergency “, said Manastiriu.
In addition to the National Emergency ambulances, Manastirliu said that the three university hospitals in Tirana will be on increased alert with beds dedicated to emergencies that may occur. For the final night, the areas where the different fans will gather have been determined, for which Manastirliu said that even there there will be ambulances to be on standby at any moment.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has undertaken a detailed plan of measures to cope with any possible health emergency, for the progress of the final match of the UEFA Conference League that will take place on Wednesday in Tirana.
