Two Albanians convicted of fraud have been located and arrested in Germany. After being placed in handcuffs, the two citizens Ilir Nazaj and Kristaq Tota were extradited to Albania.
53-year-old Ilir Nazaj was sentenced by the Court of Tirana to 6.6 years in prison, while Kristaq Tota was sentenced to 5 years in prison for the criminal offense of “Fraud”.
“Following the work for the capture of internationally wanted citizens, Interpol Tirana, after receiving information from the Search Section of DVP Tirana, about two Albanian citizens wanted internationally who were hiding in Germany, have sent the information to the German police authorities, with the aim of locating and their capture.
Based on this information, as part of the coded police operation “Capital 2″, the following citizens were located and extradited to Albania:
– Ilir Nazaj, 53 years old, sentenced to 6 years and 6 months of imprisonment, and Kristaq Tota, sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment, by the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for the criminal offense ‘Fraud’,” the police said./abcnews.al
