39-year-old man with the initials M.O has been arrested by the Tirana Police, as a suspected perpetrator of 8 cases of theft and attempted thefts to steal cars. This citizen stole cars in the capital and sold them for spare parts in Diber.
Police Station Services No. 4 arrested in flagrante delicto during the police operation codenamed “Shupenza”, the citizen Mirdash Osmani, 39 years old, resident in Diber, previously convicted for the criminal offense “Attempted murder”.
From the investigations and evidence provided it has resulted that this citizen is the suspected perpetrator of 8 cases of theft and attempted theft of vehicles in the district of Tirana.
From the provided evidence it has resulted that this citizen studied the places and the vehicles he stole, acted in the late hours of the night, creating conditions and interrupting the electric lighting of the places where these vehicles were parked. It is also suspected from the investigation that this citizen dismantled the stolen cars to sell them for spare parts.
Work continues to document other thefts, in which this citizen may be implicated. The materials were forwarded to the Tirana Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office for further action./abcnews.al
