The police of Lezha seized 40 kg and 200 grams of cannabis during the coded operation “Tempulli”. It is reported that Ergys Markja, Dorjan Salla and Artur Demiri were arrested after they were caught in the village of Gocaj, transporting the substance in the direction of Tirana, with the aim of selling it in doses.
So the three arrested are reported to have a previous criminal record.
“Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Lezha, following the continuous strikes against criminal activities in the field of narcotics, based on the information provided by the police intelligence, for a case of transporting a quantity of narcotics towards Tirana, with the aim selling in doses, have organized the work within the police mega-operation coded “Temple”, for documenting the case and arresting the perpetrators.
During the operation, on the road axis “Shkoder – Tirana”, in the village of Gocaj, the Police services stopped the “Renault” type vehicle, which was suspected of transporting narcotics.
During the search of this vehicle, the police services found 3 more bags of suspected cannabis sativa narcotics, with a total weight of 40 kilograms and 200 grams,” said the police announcement.
