Shkodra’s Mayor pays tribute to deceased Zef Deda

Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci paid this Saturday his tributes to honor the figure of the master of humor Zef Deda, who passed away on Friday. In his statement for the media, Mayor Beci underlined that the late comedian will be remembered for many roles, but also as the Albanian Chaplin.

“It is a great loss that we convey today with tremendous respect, the whole city, but I believe the entire Albanian nation, a very dimensional artistic figure.

We have grown up with Zefi for a whole generation, on holidays and joys, but also on difficult days, he has given us a smile.

Today we follow him with pain, but I think that a legend will always remain with a smile in the memory of the city, an inspiration for generations as an icon who has added to the honor of Shkodra the fact of the city of art.

As there are always great artists behind us, it is up to us to carry on this heritage, which has given the city a great name like Zef Deda”, said Beci.
