The well-known director, Vladimir Prifti, passed away this Sunday at the age of 81. Through a post on social networks, the Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, declared that Albanian cinematography lost another great figure.
Prifti is the director of some of the films such as “The Way of Letters”, “Who dies walking”, “Butterfly in my cabin”.
“Today Albanian cinematography lost another great name! The director of the unforgettable films “The Way of Letters”, “Who dies walking”, “Butterfly in my cabin” and many others, Vladimir Prifti was added to the temple of eternity! A director of psychological analysis, carving characters, who avoided the clichés of the time, Prifti has left behind a school for Albanian film. Rest in peace master!”, writes Margariti on Facebook.
