Prime Minister Edi Rama has attended this Monday the presentation of the strategy for the municipality of Tirana, saying that the time has come for greater cooperation between the government and private businesses regarding this matter.

In his speech, Rama stated that the government has done everything possible to increase salaries and has gone beyond the program they presented for this term, increasing minimum salaries by 40,000 ALL.

Furthermore, PM Rama underlined that the time has come for private businesses to reflect that they should pay their employees more, as he called on them to declare full salaries and not to underpay employees in relation to the work they do. they perform.

“Private enterprise must make a reflection without wasting time, because by shaking hands more than usual and continuously and always leaving last those who are actually the first at all, the salaries for its employees have actually opened up ourselves a hole that if we don’t hurry to close it today, it will become unsealable for a few years, a hole that comes as a result of the loss of human capital. The company cannot continue to give a part of the salary through the bank, a part in hand, to underpay the employees in relation to what is its own productivity”, said the Premier.
