Prime Minister Edi Rama this Wednesday in a meeting with importers, exporters and representatives of the supply chain with basket goods, gave details about the state of oil reserves in our country. Rama said that the government is working to provide the amount we need to avoid any collapse that the country may suffer from such a shortage.
He has expressed that he is in contact with some supporters to provide the necessary reserves in case of oil shortage.
“We have not only stayed watching and following the market, but we are making serious efforts to support in every case the same as with food and supply in case of shortage.
If this situation continues for a long time we will have to be coherent and provide the product we need.
“This is a crisis situation, we cannot live as if nothing happened,” Rama said.
Among other things, he reiterated the aid package where he emphasizes that in three months we will benefit more than half a million citizens. Rama said that agriculture is better than a year ago and hopes that productivity will continue to increase.
