Prime Minister Edi Rama announced this Friday that the innovations of vocational education, where he emphasized that the students of the first years of high schools can be easily transferred to vocational education schools, through e-Albania.
In his speech, Rama said that the proper infrastructure should be created in order to absorb as many students as possible towards professional education.
“It is about a vital reform, for our economy and social development. The reasons for which professional education continues to not be at the right level of attention are more than one, but it is clear that at this stage of the country’s development we must make a joint effort to overcome the obstacles that have been raised along the way.
Undoubtedly, more is needed and we will do more, but we encourage and push students to integrate in the professional education system in significant numbers.
The conditions have improved significantly, we need to further expand the infrastructure but we have enough room for the first phase, which has started but must intensify all your activity. This is a joint work, if today we have about 4 thousand vacancies in the vocational education system, we must absorb 4 thousand students. The needs are for much more, but we will need the infrastructure to accept much more. This requires a quick and systematic activation.
It is true that the schools are in different dependencies, but there is no problem, it should work as a system. The curricula may be different, but the staff is the same. The objective is the official objective of the educational directorates. They must guarantee the objectives and sensitize parents about the WHY of professional education. They can do even better than students who are dedicated to university, it’s about finding better, for a significant number of children. To give him a craft, to open a perspective”, said Rama.
