Prime Minister Edi Rama has called this Monday on entrepreneurs to give up the logic of exploiting employees, saying that this is hitting the heart of Albania’s economy.
During his speech in a commercial subject in Kamza area, the head of the government underlined that Albania cannot reach where it should be with the idea that it has a free labor force in relation to other countries.
“Mentality of entrepreneurs for the extreme exploitation of the labor force must end. What we are doing and which we will accompany with other measures, is to put on the side of the employees to fight together with the responsible entrepreneurs the logic of the exploitation of the labor force.
This is hitting the heart of the economy which is the workforce. It is reducing the capacity for work because we cannot accept that the minimum wage, which will be 40 thousand ALL from April, will be the same in construction”, said Rama.
