Prime Minister Rama will be hosted today in a meeting in Ankara by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Turkish presidency emphasizes that Rama will be hosted with a state ceremony by Erdogan and during the meeting several agreements will be signed between the two countries “in the framework of increasing cooperation”.
At the end of the meeting, Erdogan will give an official lunch for Rama and the accompanying delegation.
A day earlier, Anadolu Agency reported that Rama was going to Turkey at the invitation of President Erdogan. In the announcement, the Turkish Ministry stated that the meeting will take place in the framework of increasing cooperation between the two countries, however recently in the region there have been many developments that directly affect Turkey, such as the issue of the sea between us and Greece.
Albania and Greece decided to take the issue to The Hague, but it seems that such a decision has worried the Turkey, as what will happen between Greece and Albania regarding the sea could be used by the Hellenes as a precedent for the islands in front of Turkey. /abcnews.al
