Prime Minister Edi Rama declared today that getting children out from hell camp (Al Hol) was very difficult, but he added they have also identified other children expected to be repatriated.

PM Rama’s statement came as four children were repatriated from this camp situated in Syria, meanwhile, the Premier stressed out that this operation has been very complex.

“We have the basis to continue with the second phase. The other children have been identified, they have become a good part of the contacts and interviews and I believe that sooner or later we will return another part here in Albania.

There is no doubt that getting these children out of this hell is not like getting them out of kindergarten or school. They are among some of the parents who remain radicalized. Everything is complex, but I repeat that the work done inside the camp has been intensive with the presence of the director of anti-terrorism.

Moreover, the Premier assured that they have ready the special structure that will do the rehabilitation of children.

“We have prepared the special structure because the decision to enter the territory was made at the right time, but we would be ready sooner and the structure is ready not only for these children but also for other children. We will cooperate with relatives, we will work step by step to integrate into structures according to the judgment that will be given by doctors and psychologists “, said Rama.

Among other things, Prime Minister Rama answered the question of the Abc News journalist, Esiona Konomi regarding the fact whether the repatriates from Syria will be brought to justice, he stressed out that the relevant authorities will deal with this issue.

“It is not discussed who committed the crimes will be brought to justice, but the cases are individual and are the relevant bodies that will follow the legal ways for each. “But I want to emphasize that in these groups we have different categories,” he said./abcnews.al
